About This Blog

Here's the more interactive and fun side of what goes on behind the pictures taken for Luxe Photography. As a photographer, you hope that out of the hundreds of pictures you've taken, you have at least one that stands out...that tells a story. These are my pictures as well as stories to share with you. We operate out of St. Charles, Missouri but we have clients throughout the St. Louis area.

Luxe Holiday Packages

We've had a few people ask about holiday cards and what better way to knock out a few "to do's" than family pictures and cards! You're already getting pictures done, so why not combine that with letting us do the cards for you. Pick the package with the number of cards you want (they come in quantities of 20, envelopes included) and then pick from the multiple designs. After your family pictures, let us know which ones you want for your cards and what message you want, and we'll handle the rest. We'll have them ship directly to you!

Holiday 20 Package $74
Holiday 40 Package $89
Holiday 60 Package $99
Holiday 100 Package $129

Each package includes the sitting fee and:

Chopper...

If anyone remembers the movie Stand by Me when Gordy runs through the old junk yard with the watch dog chasing him...that's what it felt like for me when I ventured out to take this shot.

I was in the middle of Kansas on an inspection deal I do every now and then for an old customer of mine when I happened on this old junk yard. Something like this just catches your eye so I pulled into the lot and past the open fence that said "No Trespassing" and "Dog on Duty." I left my car running and slowly walked to an angle where I could shoot when I heard a dog in the distance barking...and getting closer. I snapped a few pictures and ran to my car...hopped in and took off. Clouds of dust were all that were left as I high tailed it off the property.

Sounds pretty anti-climactic now, but at the time, it was pretty cool...
